About The Position

Perform a variety of noninvasive technical procedures in cardiac graphics utilizing high frequency sound waves to study movement and size of the various cardiac structures for the diagnosis of heart disorders. Core Laboratory Responsibilities (80%) · Collaborate with the Research Project Manager, Principal Investigator, and Study Sponsor to perform project-specific echocardiographic measurements. · Work closely with data collection and analysis teams to ensure compliance with study protocols and contractual requirements; identify and resolve issues as needed. · Participate in meetings and conference calls for ongoing and upcoming research projects. · Develop and maintain sonographer-specific measurement instructions tailored to each study. · Assist with Independent Image Review (IIR) setup and contribute to SOP development and finalization. · Perform echocardiographic measurements, complete image reads, and provide training for sonographers. · Compile, organize, and prepare data for analysis and submission to study sponsors at required intervals. Research Team Support (20%) · Monitor compliance of collected data with study-specific worksheets and protocols. · Perform echocardiographic measurements and complete required worksheets for applicable studies. · Coordinate scheduling and completion of echocardiograms with sonographers and study coordinators. · Provide initial and refresher training for sonographers on protocol-specific techniques. · Upload large volumes of imaging data to approved platforms (e.g., AG MEDNET, WEBPAX). · Manage scheduling accuracy, billing updates, de-identification processes, and resource coordination for study execution. · Schedule, perform, and submit certification echocardiograms for new studies in accordance with protocol requirements. · Conduct webinar-based training sessions on core lab processes and data upload systems. · Review study protocols and update sonographer instructions as needed. Requirements

  • Work requires sufficient education/training to acquire American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in cardiac ultrasound, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
  • Registry eligible. Registry preferred within 12 months of employment.
  • OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
