About The Position
The expectation for this role includes instilling compliance with various clinical and non clinical policies and processes, developing a culture of service excellence and accountability among staff and correcting variances in clinical, service, fiscal and safety performance. This employee is responsible for supervising staff, providing proper staffing at all times, as well as performing the functions of the technical staff. He/she assists in assessing, planning, developing, and implementing the services, activities, budget and long range plans for the department. Under administrative supervision, the employee has personal accountability for carrying out assigned functions, programs, or projects within the scope of established guidelines and objectives and is expected to resolve problems that arise in the normal course of the work. Estimated salary range for this position is $83400.24 - $108420.31 / year depending on experience.
Requirements
- Associates Degree
- CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Basic Life Support
- Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of echocardiographic procedures.
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS).
- Current BLS by the American Heart Association.
- Three years of experience in performing full time (36-40H/Week) the basic and advanced adult echocardiography testing.
- Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
