About The Position

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Echocardiogram Technology program
- Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer
Responsibilities
- Greets and confirms patients, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure.
- Explains procedure length, properly positions patient for procedure, and expectations along with desired results.
- Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
- Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
- Continues to develop professionally through continuing education programs and in-services.
- Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.
- Primary Responsibilities include performance of the following procedures: Adult Echocardiography, Stress/Echo tests.
- Additional responsibilities include maintaining work logs, providing preliminary reports, and working closely with physicians to ensure protocols are established and met.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
