We currently have an opening at our Oconomowoc clinic on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with scheduling ranging from 2 to 4 times per month based on patient volume. We also have some optional per-diem availability at multiple Wisconsin-based clinics. About Us: Allegiance Medical, Inc. is a veteran-owned and operated clinic specializing in disability assessments for uniformed service members and veterans on behalf of the US Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as various employment-related examinations for diverse clients.

Requirements

  • Qualifying degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echocardiography, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Required for Sonographer).
  • Wisconsin License/Registration (Required).
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer or Echocardiographer (Required).
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to accurately measure and calculate diagnostic data.
  • Familiarity with relevant imaging software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate ultrasound equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Qualifying degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echocardiography, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Willingness to Travel: 25% (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including 2D echocardiograms, using specialized equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results.
  • Analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards and communicate findings to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible patient care.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  • Assist with patient flow, collect patient history and vital signs, and perform EKGs when trained.
