About The Position

Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days 7-5:30, Schedule: 4 -10 hour shifts Position Summary The Echocardiographer is an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team. This technical operator role offers a venue for utilizing your specialized knowledge and clinical skill sets. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and high-quality imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Requirements

Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with a specialty Registration of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS); If RDCS registry eligible, must receive RDCS certification within 12 months of hire or transfer
Registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International as Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) may be substituted for RDCS with the expectation of obtaining ARDMS registry within 12 months of hire or transfer
BLS Certification
Previous experience as an Echocardiographer preferred

Responsibilities

You will obtain high-quality recordings of ultrasound images of the heart and related structures
You will perform diagnostic radiology to accomplish strategic departmental goals
You will utilize your knowledge and skills of the diverse types of ultrasound procedures
You will engage your clinical interpretive knowledge, independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in performing procedures
