About The Position

The Echo Technologist/Echocardiographer will work within the Echo/Cardio Dept. Duties include: Assumes responsibility of echocardiographic testing in the cardiovascular department. Includes but not limited to all 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and stress echo tests. Insures proper and economical use of equipment, supplies and other clinical resources employed in the delivery of quality patient care and maintains appropriate records and files.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree required
• Minimum of 5 years experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting
• Registered as RCVT or RDCS required
• CPR required

Nice To Haves

• Some supervisory experience preferred
• Echocardiograph certification preferred

Responsibilities
