About The Position

Sentara Princess Anne in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer. The position involves performing Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. The Echocardiographer will work in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU, and will also work with patients at the bedside. The unit has 5 rooms for Echos.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, or High School Diploma
• At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests
• Conduct Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms
• Execute Doppler ultrasound procedures
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU
• Provide bedside care to patients
