The Echocardiographer will assess patients' heart conditions through detailed ultrasound images taken during echocardiograms, which evaluate blood flow, valve function, and chamber size. The role involves accurately recording patient data and test results. Diagnostic ultrasound procedures may include but are not limited to 2-D or 3-D echocardiograms, Strain, Contrast, Doppler, TEE, and Stress Echo.
