About The Position

Under the general direction of the supervisor and reporting to the director, the Echo Technologist performs/is responsible for echocardiographic exams in accordance with hospital and departmental standards. Completes all phases of exams and assists with other Heart Institute procedures and patients as needed. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an echocardiography ultrasound technology program.
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Clinic experience.
• 2 years performing cardiac ultrasound in a clinic setting.
• Electronic troubleshooting experience.

Nice To Haves

• Performing neonate/pediatric echocardiograms.
