About The Position

Echocardiograph Tech-Crescent CVI-Per Diem-Day-Mount Sinai Queens Performs echocardiograms and exercise stress tests of a non-invasive nature. Maintains a high level of professional expertise to obtain consistent and accurate diagnostic information. Generally works with an echocardiogram nurse, an exercise technician and an ultrasound technician.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Echocardiograph Technician course of study.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of echocardiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms and exercise stress tests of a non-invasive nature.
• Reviews test results with physicians, colleagues and students, and makes appropriate documentation.
• Assists in maintenance of supply inventory and requests all necessary supplies for test area.
• Prepares monthly statistical reports on tests performed, volume, etc., as requested.
