We are currently seeking an Echocardiogram Technician (Echo Tech) on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis in our Vascular Lab. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now! As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include: Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations Must be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring)

Requirements

Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians
RVT certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Meditech knowledge
1 to 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read
Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system
Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital
Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations
