Echo Vascular Tech, PRN (Lee & Charlotte counties)
About The Position
Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a PRN Echo Technologist to join our Imaging Team. We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task, and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience! Our Echo Technologist must be able to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment with a pleasant disposition. They are responsible for performing routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound examinations and performs and provides a preliminary interpretation of studies performed. Examinations performed may include, but are not limited to, trans-thoracic, stress and contrast echocardiograms (utilizing commercially prepared contrast agents), peripheral venous and arterial exams, extracranial cerebrovascular exams, visceral vascular and/or renal vascular exams.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography, non-invasive cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and training.
- Echocardiography experience required.
- RDCS with RVT preferred. CCI also acceptable.
- BLS, CPR
- strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
- Athena knowledge preferred but not required.
- occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Vascular technology/sonography experience preferred.
- Athena knowledge preferred but not required.
