The Echo Technologist performs electrocardiography/Echo studies on all patient populations served, ranging from neonates to mature adults. This role involves maintaining communication between technical staff, nursing units, and physicians to ensure that tests and reports are completed in a timely manner. The technologist may also need to provide on-call coverage. Participation in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities and interdisciplinary teams is expected as appropriate. The position requires performing diagnostic cardiology testing in compliance with department procedures and regulatory guidelines.
