About The Position

Performs Cardiac diagnostic ultrasound procedures as well as EKG, Stress Testing and Holter Monitor procedures outlined in policies/procedures of the Cardiopulmonary Laboratory. Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment, observation and documentation. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within. Work is primarily independent. Stays abreast of current changes in care by attending training and in-service programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiopulmonary/ultrasound technology with current or pending registration. Will consider previous training and experience.
• BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• RVS/RDCS or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in cardiovascular diagnostic testing preferred.
• ACLS certification is preferred but not required.
• RVS/RDCS or equivalent is preferred but not required.
