Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedure and related responsibilities required. 2+ years is preferred.
• ARDMS/RDCS certification is required.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check.
• Must have a current BLS/CPR
• Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patient lifting, positioning aids, portable ultrasound machines, and assisting with minor patient movements.
• Requires physical flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust equipment or patients as needed.
• Requires prolonged standing or walking while performing scans, moving between patients, and positioning equipment. Physical endurance is essential to complete multiple consecutive scans.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist.
• Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff.
• Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.
