About The Position

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate in a relevant field.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical procedures using Ultrasound to detect pathology.
• Regulate ultrasound equipment to produce quality studies/images and send tech impressions to PACS in a timely manner.
• Follow policies on transporting and disinfecting scopes, probes, and transport cases.
• Assist in the daily operation of the Cardiac Ultrasound Department.
• Establish and maintain good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees.
