About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician, along with: TEE, EEG, EKG's, Stress Tests, EECP, ICG and ambulatory monitoring. The technologist effectively operates ultrasound equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings. The echo technologist explains procedures and answers questions for the patient and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The echo technologist adjusts equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School graduate or GED Minimum Experience 1 year previous hospital experience in Echocardiography technology preferred Required Registration/License/Certification BLS Certification within 90 days of employment

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED
• BLS Certification within 90 days of employment

Nice To Haves

• 1 year previous hospital experience in Echocardiography technology preferred
