About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Echo Technician to provide high-quality echocardiography services in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings. This is a 14-week assignment offering day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and no on-call requirement.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of cardiac ultrasound experience
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) (Registry-eligible candidates may be considered)
- Current CPR-BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of EKG rhythms and cardiac terminology
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree in a related healthcare field
Responsibilities
- Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms
- Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) studies
- Perform exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms
- Assist with procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center
- Accurately interpret and document EKG rhythms and cardiac terminology
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards
- Participate in ongoing training and performance improvement initiatives
