About The Position

Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram. Sign-on bonus doesn't apply to internal applicants

Requirements

• Current BLS
• Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI within 6 months of hire.
• if registered with ARDMS, RDCS is required
• if registered with CCI, RCS is required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience preferred as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular (inpatient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent), adult and geriatric patients.
• Vascular Certification is preferred
