About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens is part of the NewYork-Presbyterian healthcare network, one of the nation's most comprehensive academic healthcare systems and a leader in innovation. Our physicians include faculty from the world-renowned medical school, Weill Cornell Medicine, and are part of a network of outpatient practices and doctor's offices located throughout Queens. Join our compassionate and highly skilled pediatric subspecialty team as an Echo Technician, where you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating pediatric patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside three board-certified pediatric cardiologists in an ICAEL accredited echo lab.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Completion of approved Echocardiogram Training Program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician
  • ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography (Echo) Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing fetal and pediatric echocardiograms

Responsibilities

  • Perform pediatric transthoracic and fetal echocardiograms
  • Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to imaging protocols and quality standards
  • Document procedures and findings accurately in the patient records
