About The Position

Join Novant Health as an Echocardiographer in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Vascular LA/Cath Lab at Hilton Head Medical Center. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation assistance of up to $7,500. As an Echocardiographer, you will perform echocardiography studies and stress ECHOs, while analyzing hemodynamic data to support patient care. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
• Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred.
• Two years of echocardiography experience preferred.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS preferred.

• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s)' age.
• Ability to interpret information to identify each patient(s)' requirements for care relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Considerable verbal ability to effectively communicate observations and input to nursing staff, physicians, and other department staff.
