About The Position

The Echo Tech position at San Dimas Community Hospital involves using ultrasound technology to visualize internal cardiac structures and assist physicians with complex ultrasound procedures. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
• EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing preferred.
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
• Registered Echocardiographer preferred.
• ARDMS or CCI credential required.
• Able to perform stress testing preferred.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium, and visualize blood flow.
• Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
• Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department.
