About The Position

The position is focused on providing non-invasive cardiac testing at the Freeman Heart Institute, which serves both outpatient and inpatient patients. The Echo Lab operates from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with critical care services available 24/7. The role involves performing systematic assessments of patients' physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs under the supervision of a physician, implementing diagnostic and therapeutic care, and adjusting care plans as necessary.

Requirements

• Current Echo Cardiographer certification through ARDMS as RDCS.
• RVT and RDMS certifications accepted with previous echo experience.
• OR certification through CCI as RCS, RCCS.
• RVS and CCT certifications accepted with previous echo experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform systematic and continuous assessment of assigned patients' needs.
• Implement appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care and adjust plans as indicated in a timely manner.
