Requirements

• Post–high school specialized training in Cardiac Sonography required.
• Graduate of an Accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program.
• Registry eligible at time of hire.
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credential required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of adult echocardiography procedures including Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE), Limited / Follow-Up Echocardiogram, Lumason Contrast Echocardiogram, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) with Cardioversion, and Echo-Guided Pericardiocentesis.
• Prepare and maintain TD100 TEE Scope Cleaning Processor.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Accurately document findings and generate reports through MERGE Echo Reporting System.
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Record for documentation and coordination of care.
