Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of previous job-related experience.
• Certification in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS required).
• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Current CPR card.
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric and neonatal echocardiography.
• Knowledge of congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiac anatomy.
• Experience with contrast echo protocols and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced, non-invasive echocardiographic imaging under the supervision of the Medical Director and Echo Lab Coordinator.
• Conduct cardiac ultrasound procedures across all age groups, with a strong emphasis on neonates and pediatric patients.
• Support the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease through high-quality imaging.
• Execute echocardiography exams in alignment with ASE, ACC, and ICAEL standards.
• Assist in the administration of contrast-enhanced echocardiography using Definity and/or Optison.
• Coordinate patient throughput to maintain efficient lab operations.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
