About The Position

The position involves performing and processing electrocardiograms (ECGs) and Holter monitors. The individual will be responsible for the initial review of ECGs for abnormalities, troubleshooting, and adhering to safe laboratory practices. The role includes providing direction to new employees and assisting in their training, as well as training medical students and other allied health professionals. The position is part of a large rotational team that operates in various physical locations, including outpatient and inpatient settings, and provides 24-hour services at the hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior ECG experience preferred.
• Computer experience desired.
• Must be highly organized and efficient.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Public relation skills are necessary.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Education for a health care position preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) National Certification preferred.
