About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking qualified applicant as a lab technician for the Bliss Lab (http://bliss.colostate.edu) who are proficient in circuit design and printed circuit board design of complex bioelectronic systems using modern design tools. The successful candidate must be able to communicate well with other students and faculty in the Bliss lab and with other collaborating partners.

Requirements

• Demonstrated excellent design and debugging skills in the past beyond just coursework.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Cadence and Autocad design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and Debugging - Under director of the Pl and supervisor, conduct design and debugging of a complex bioelectronic circuit for a biosensor instrument. The responsibilities include: Create circuit schematics. Simulate and verify circuit functions. Circuit board layout Circuit board debugging and system integration. Other duties as assigned
• Research and Data Contribute towards research summary and presentation Other duties as assigned
