About The Position

The ECAMS Operator/Technician/AME Tech "O" Level position at Kay & Associates, Inc. involves supporting the operation of the AME system, focusing on information processing and maintenance of AME hardware. Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years' AME operator experience on both the EPU and Ground Maintenance Support systems, including troubleshooting software anomalies.
• Two (2) years of maintenance experience.
• Completion of AME operator/maintainer course required.
• Completion of computer repair course required.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft logbook structure and maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and engine databases by processing source documents and making entries into AME according to KAMP procedures.
• Process Life Usage Index (LUI) data, perform software updates, and manage system backups and restore procedures.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly engine and aircraft reports as required.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of the Electrical Power Unit (EPU) and AME server and client stations.
• Ensure LUI tracking reports are provided to verify against applicable engine Aeronautical Engine Service Records prior to engine acceptance or transfer.
• Screen all VIDS/MAF and NAVFLIRs and make entries into the AME ground station.
• Ensure removal or installation of all applicable components is recorded in AME for tracking purposes.
• Support on-the-job training (OJT) and cross-train KAF personnel.
