About The Position

We are seeking an Assurance Auditor specializing in Employee Benefit Plans to assist in planning audit approaches, preparing supporting workpapers, overseeing staff, and delivering exceptional client service across a variety of industries. This role offers the chance to build deep expertise in a high-demand specialty while contributing to a rapidly growing practice.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
Two to five years of public accounting, payroll, or benefits experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of accounting procedures and/or benefit plan operations.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Occasional travel for client setup, conferences, or training.

Nice To Haves

CPA license or HR certification encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead and support audits for defined contribution plans, defined benefit pension plans, and health plans.
Guide and oversee staff performing compliance testing across various benefit plans.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand expectations and build long-term relationships.
Identify issues and propose solutions to managers and partners.
Provide value-added suggestions from audit findings for client benefit.
Stay current on relevant developments and participate in internal training.
Participate in recruiting efforts for staff and interns.
