About the Team and the Role eBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, enabling real-time interaction between buyers and sellers through live video. Through engaging live streams, sellers build trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business. eBay Live blends commerce and entertainment to create differentiated, high-trust shopping experiences at scale. This role sits at the center of the Programming & Partnerships organization and serves as a key operational and analytical partner to the team’s Strategy & Operations lead. The focus of the role is to enable faster, clearer, and more effective decision-making by translating data, business context, and cross-functional input into actionable insights and well-executed plans. You will drive day-to-day execution across programming, partnerships, and production by ensuring priorities are clearly defined, workstreams are coordinated, and leadership is consistently equipped with the information needed to make high-quality decisions. This is a highly leveraged role focused on execution, clarity, and insight generation, helping scale the impact of the broader team. The ideal candidate is highly structured, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong analytical instincts and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, actionable outputs. You are comfortable operating behind the scenes to ensure leaders and teams can operate at their best.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in program management, strategy, consulting, or a related role.
  • A degree or significant work experience in analytics.
  • Strong ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Proven ability to create structured, compelling presentations for executive audiences
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in marketplaces, live commerce, content platforms, or partnerships-driven businesses
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau or Amplitude and planning tools such as Monday.com
  • Experience working with Google Workspace
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Execution & Coordination Drive execution of key initiatives by aligning stakeholders on scope, timelines, milestones, and success metrics
  • Track progress across workstreams, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of priorities
  • Translate strategic direction into clear, actionable plans across cross-functional teams
  • Decision Support & Insight Generation Synthesize data, business context, and stakeholder input into clear, structured recommendations
  • Anticipate leadership needs and proactively provide the insights required to inform decisions
  • Conduct analyses on user behavior, seller performance, and content effectiveness to identify trends and opportunities
  • Partner with data teams to define metrics, dashboards, and experimentation approaches aligned to team priorities
  • Materials & Communication Build high-quality, executive-ready presentations that clearly communicate insights, progress, and recommendations
  • Prepare materials for internal reviews, partner meetings, and executive forums to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Operational Leverage & Planning Support Support prioritization and planning by ensuring key initiatives, decisions, and follow-ups are tracked and executed
  • Maintain visibility across initiatives to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or areas of ambiguity and proactively drive clarity and resolution
