Requirements

  • Master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering from an accredited institution with a graduation date before August 2026.
  • Minimum of one internship/co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of Power Electronics work experience completed at the time of this application.
  • Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community.
  • Two or more relevant internships or co-op experiences.
  • Power Electronics industry experience (Power Electronics Hardware/Control Design, and/or Power conversion; Model based design/ electronic circuit design and simulation; Electrical testing, troubleshooting, & validation).
  • Preferred Software exposure: RTDS, OPAL-RT, Typhoon, dSPACE, MatLab.
  • Demonstrated exposure to machine learning or AI concepts through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support product engineering projects driving the next wave of innovation for Eaton's products.
  • Participate in two unique 12-month assignments within the Engineering and Technology Development Program.
  • Explore various roles early on and participate in the LDP Core Learning Series.
  • Build functional expertise and leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and participate in mentorship programs.
