About The Position

We are seeking qualified individuals for our teaching restaurant Eatery ‘73 and Grab & Go at Austin Community College. Dish machine operators are a crucial part of our restaurant operations to ensure seamless service for our guests and help keep the kitchen clean and sanitized for service. Our ideal candidate is kind, positive, and works well with others. They also believe in quality, consistency, and working in a clean, organized, and multicultural environment where respect and dignity are prioritized.

Requirements

Restaurant experience is a plus
Must be able to frequently carry up to 20 lbs.
Must be able to occasionally carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stack, walk, and move during the entire shift including frequent bending and stooping.
Must be positive, collaborative, and committed to healthy communication and quality work

Responsibilities

Operate dish machine fluently: changing chemicals, taking apart, and cleaning.
Consistent maintenance and monitoring of dish machine operation.
Display a thorough working knowledge of food safety & sanitation standards regarding 3-compartment sink washing and sanitation procedures, equipment & floor cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
