About The Position

The Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Millwork will be responsible for identifying changes in products and markets, as well as opportunities for growth with existing and new customers. This role requires effective communication across all channels, including customers, internal teams, and ownership. The manager will prepare and present training and product knowledge sessions for groups ranging from 5 to over 50 individuals. The position demands maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings related to manufactured parts and products. The manager will also need to learn and function within SAP, Woodgrain's ERP system, to support the sales process. Regular communication with management regarding pricing, service complaints, competition, and new products is essential. The role includes attending sales meetings, plant tours, and regional sales conferences/shows, and establishing a regular sales schedule with customers, requiring flexibility for up to 60% travel by personal vehicle and air travel.
