About The Position

The Flowery is seeking a dedicated Budtender to join our team. This position involves performing store opening and closing procedures, creating a customer-centric environment, and ensuring excellent customer interactions. The Budtender will be responsible for checking in and verifying customer profiles, maintaining confidentiality, controlling customer traffic, and educating customers about products. Additionally, the role includes creating customer orders, accepting payments, and assisting with local deliveries. The position requires a commitment to upholding the company's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

• Retail sales and/or cannabis industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures (such as cleaning, tablet placement/removal, and prepping workstations, opening and closing registers)
• Create an environment prioritizing customer and providing excellent customer interactions
• Check in, verify and/or create new customer profiles upon entry to the dispensary
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with customer information and interactions (on and off the clock)
• Control the pace of customer traffic within the dispensary
• Educate and assist customers in creating orders by providing suggestions in regard to available products based on physician recommendations and specific customer needs
• Inform customers of any current promotions or highlighted products
• Create customer orders and accept payment at POS using provided operating system
• Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures
• Assist in occasional deliveries (scheduled and discussed ahead of time)
• Complete local deliveries via electric scooter
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

• Starting Wage - $20/hr
