About The Position

The Fitness Assistant General Manager (AGM) at LA Fitness in East Norriton is responsible for driving revenue through new member enrollments while retaining existing members. This sales-driven role involves recruiting, hiring, training, and developing future managers, as well as performing marketing efforts to attract potential new members to the club. The AGM is expected to engage with the community and achieve daily sales quotas.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in fitness (preferred)
• 1 year of management experience (preferred)
• 1 year of marketing experience (preferred)
• 1 year of sales experience (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Calling, texting, and emailing potential members daily
• Marketing through social media platforms and Google to generate business
• Handing out guest passes inside and outside the club
• Touring guests around the health club
• Assessing each guest's individual needs for the location
• Selling memberships, personal training, and other club amenities
• Cleaning the club as needed to ensure safety for staff and members
• Achieving pre-determined sales goals to earn bonuses
