About The Position

The Earned Value Management Specialist (Tier IV) at Raytheon is responsible for ensuring compliance with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes across various programs. This role involves leading EVM implementation, conducting training, and providing guidance to program teams to enhance EVM maturity. The specialist will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Program Managers and Finance, to drive effective EVM practices and improve program execution. This position requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to mentor team members and foster relationships that enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
  • Typically requires 8+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years prior relevant experience
  • Experience in EVMS, Program Controls, and Cost/Schedule Integration
  • Experience using analytical techniques to assess EVM compliance
  • Experience executing/reinforcing EVM reporting with Data Item Descriptions (DID) requirements for Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR)/Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

  • Experience in Proposal, IBR, Baseline and Execution Processes to include Subcontractor Integration

Responsibilities

  • Lead EVM implementation and compliance for programs
  • Prepare teams for all EVM events (IBR, surveillance, etc.)
  • Provide feedback to program teams with options for compliant implementation
  • Collaborate with the RTX EVM Team for consistency of EVM application
  • Review RFP/RFQ for EVM requirements and make recommendations for revisions
  • Train program front line leaders on how to implement compliant EVM processes
  • Assess EVM artifacts for compliance to DIDs, CDRLs, and EVM Command Media
