About The Position

Lead the implementation and execution of EVM processes and systems across our projects. Display a deep understanding of project management principles, a meticulous approach to data analysis, and the ability to communicate complex financial and schedule performance information to various stakeholders. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's EVM system, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as EIA-748 D. Conduct regular project performance analysis using EVM metrics such as Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Budget at Completion (BAC), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and To Complete Performance Index (TCPI). Generate comprehensive EVM reports and dashboards for project managers, senior leadership, and clients. Manage the EVM toolset and software, ensuring it meets project requirements and integrates with other enterprise systems. Support internal and external audits related to EVM compliance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project controls.
  • 3+ years of experience in a dedicated EVM role with government or defense contracts requiring EVMS reporting.
  • Experience leading, implementing, and managing an EVM system on large, complex software projects.
  • Experience leading a large-scale Agile software-based EVM program.
  • Experience with EVM software such as Deltek Cobra.
  • Experience with schedule management software such as MS Project or Oracle Primavera.
  • Experience with analytical and quantitative analysis, including using data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to present and translate technical data into actionable business insights.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience as a hands-on Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Experience building EVM teams, including formal and on-the-job training.

  • Possession of excellent communication skills.
  • Professional Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Earned Value Management Professional (EVP), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or Agile Scrum Master Certification.
