About The Position

Leidos currently has an immediate opportunity for an Earned Value Management Analyst in the Kinetic Effects Division, part of the broader Defense Systems Sector. This exciting role provides direct Earned Value Management (EVM) contribution to critical programs and related portfolios of work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of program functional relationships and can successfully interface with Program Finance Analysts (PFAs), Program Schedulers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), and Program Managers. This position offers hands on EVM analytical & operational support, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and company policies and procedures, while actively driving the program business rhythm and championing the execution of EVM customer deliverables. The EVM Analyst position will be an integral part of the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE), a team-leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training, and surveillance for Leidos.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a BA degree and 4+ years of prior relevant Aerospace & Defense experience; additional education, experience or training will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Strong Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, etc.)
  • Great Interpersonal skills
  • EVM Cost Tool experience (Cobra, OPDEC IPM)
  • Familiarity with the EIA-748 Guidelines.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation & execution of EVMS policies and practices.
  • Significant interface with Program Scheduling, Control Account Managers, EVM Analyst, and Supplier Management.
  • The ability to communicate and document cost and schedule integration compliance issues and elevate to functional lead(s) as necessary.
  • Provide change control direction to CAMS and program stakeholders.
  • Develop, review, and assist in variance analysis development & reporting.
  • Assist in the charge numbers/resources reconciliation process.
  • Encourage continuous self-development and skill advancement in Earned Value Management.
