What You’ll Do Day-To-Day Perform standard and non-standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks resolution of field problems and resolution of quality events. Solve a range of straightforward problems, analyze solutions and assess each using standard procedures. Ensure compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff. Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications for tasks previously performed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in engineering simulations or the design and implementation of models and numerical methods.
• Experience related to commercial nuclear reactors is preferred.
• High level programming experience in C, C++, and Python
• Familiar with engineering software used in simulating nuclear power plants.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, time management, collaborative, continuous improvement, adaptability, problem-solving
• Fundamental understanding of the mathematics and physics related to nuclear power plants

• Total Rewards Package S alary: $82,000 - $107,000 , and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses.
• The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
