About The Position
As an Early Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will work in a classroom of children ages 2–3 years old. You will provide a nurturing and safe environment while working collaboratively with partner teachers to ensure the successful operation of the classroom. Requirements
- High School Diploma and 6 semester or 9 quarter Early Childhood Education units (including child development, child/family/community, and curriculum)
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior preschool experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing, responsive environment that promotes social and emotional development
- Support children with daily care routines, including toileting, potty training, and assisting with pull-ups as needed
- Collaborate with faculty and staff
- Communicate daily with parents or guardians
- Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment
