About The Position

As an Early Preschool Teacher at Primrose School at Gray Eagle , you’ll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. You’ll help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information. Free Training Provided. Make a difference every day. Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child. Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more. Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum. Requirements

Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

Responsibilities

Overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School at Gray Eagle and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
Implement the provided lesson plans.
