About The Position

Are you an Early Riser? Do you have a few hours free during your mornings that you’d like to fit in a short shift for an incredible family? We are seeking an early morning sitter for a family in St Charles to work every other week, Monday - Friday, 6:00am-9:00am. Responsibilities would be to get two children (ages 3 years and 7 years) ready for school in the mornings. There is a possibility of more hours on certain weekends, or after school care, once a relationship has been established. The 3 year old is still in diapers, so the sitter should be OK with diaper changes. The family is seeking a sitter who is reliable, a good communicator, consistent and adaptable. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Have a valid drivers license with regular access to a vehicle and ability to transport children in said vehicle as needed
  • Consent to a background screening

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with children
  • Breakfast and diaper changes
  • Getting both kids ready for school
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care
  • Put together breakfast for children
  • Restore the kitchen and play areas after food and fun (with age-appropriate assistance from the kids)
  • Get to know a family and develop a relationship with the kids and parents over time
