Early Morning Lifeguard – Beverly YMCA Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 4:45 AM–9:00 AM Are you an early riser looking for a part-time role that makes a real impact? The Beverly YMCA is seeking certified lifeguards to join our aquatics team for early morning coverage. This position is perfect for college students or retirees who want to start their day making a difference in the community! What You’ll Do: Open the indoor pool and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all members. Provide vigilant lifeguard coverage during early morning swim sessions and classes. Engage positively with members while modeling our Y values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Maintain focus on safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. What You Bring: Current Lifeguard certification (required). Dependable, early-morning work ethic. Strong communication and customer service skills. Requirements
- Current Lifeguard certification (required).
- Dependable, early-morning work ethic.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Desire to support your community through water safety and wellness.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:45 am to 9 am
Nice To Haves
- YUSA lifeguard certified preferred, but not required; training may be provided for recertification
