About The Position
The Santa Monica Family YMCA's Early Learning Center is dedicated to providing high-quality child care and is currently seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Early Learning Teachers to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and are looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young children. As a teacher at our center, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children. You will work collaboratively with other educators to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. In this role, you will have the opportunity to foster a love of learning in children through play-based and hands-on experiences. You will be responsible for observing and assessing children's progress, communicating with parents about their child's development, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom. The ideal candidate will be energetic, creative, and able to build strong relationships with children and their families. This is a full-time position that may include roles such as Teacher, Assistant Teacher, or Floater, depending on your experience and qualifications.
