About The Position

Early Learning Specialists provide consistent, reliable support to Early Learning classrooms through regular attendance and the use of the Practice-Based Coaching model paired with reflective leadership. They work directly in classroom environments to model effective teaching practices, support classroom management, monitor lesson plans, ensure developmentally appropriate practices for children, and integrate School Readiness Goals and approved curricula. Using data-based decision making, CLASS expertise, and ongoing observations, they document progress, guide professional development, complete evaluations, and support continuous quality improvement. Additionally, Early Learning Specialists collaborate across program areas, maintain regulatory compliance, support staffing and onboarding, manage required reporting, and build strong relationships with teachers, families, and community partners to enhance overall program quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years preschool teaching experience and supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 30 ECE credits.
