About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Education Manager, the Education Specialist is responsible for monitoring Family Child Care Home Education Network ("FCCHEN") to ensure compliance with California Department of Social Services, Early Education and Support Division, and Licensing regulations. The Education Specialist will observe and assess children using the Desired Result Developmental Profile ("DRDP") and conduct Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale assessments to create program activities that address the developmental needs of children by providing appropriate learning experiences and sharing with the providers.
