About The Position
The Early Learning Associate Teacher at Bracher Children's Center plays a crucial role in providing high-quality early learning programs for infants and preschool children within the Santa Clara Unified School District. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. The teacher will work under the guidance of a permit teacher or site supervisor, delivering instruction to individuals, small groups, or large groups of Child Development students. The role involves monitoring and reporting on student progress, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive in their educational journey. In this position, the teacher will be responsible for organizing and leading learning activities, preparing and implementing weekly lesson plans, and creating engaging materials for classroom use. The teacher will also attend meetings and in-service training sessions focused on child growth and development, ensuring that they remain informed about best practices in early childhood education. A significant aspect of the role is to maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety practices, and assisting students during emergency drills. The ideal candidate will possess a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit and have experience working with preschool and school-age children in an organized setting.
