About The Position

Launch your career at Wayfair! We are seeking candidates to join us for a week-long, immersive program for second-year students from diverse communities. Participants in our Early Leaders Program will gain exposure to core functional areas in business and technology, while honing their communication, analytical and leadership skills. This is an ideal resume-building opportunity for individuals who are passionate about e-commerce and want to enter the tech space that could potentially jump start a career at Wayfair. Students will be placed into one of two tracks either focused on career paths in technology or business, depending on their area of interest. Transportation to and from Boston, along with housing will be provided.

Requirements

  • Graduating from a bachelor’s degree program in May 2027 (current sophomore year status)
  • Technology Track: Working toward a technical degree in computer science or a related technical field
  • Business Track: Working toward a degree in any business or liberal arts field
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future
  • Interest in the e-commerce and/or technology field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive as part of a team and individually
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that’s balanced with being part of a larger organization
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong demonstrated academic performance

Responsibilities

  • Gain access to Wayfair senior leadership through both targeted sessions and informal networking
  • Meet with a mentor daily over the course of the program to gain invaluable career advice
  • Participate in workshops focusing on developing analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Participate in panels led by Employee Resource Groups to learn more about Wayfair’s culture of belonging
  • Engage in conversations centered around diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Experience the City of Boston through social events
  • Work as part of a small team to tackle real-life business situations and present at a final case competition
