About The Position

The Early Intervention Therapist – DT provides in-home and community-based services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. This role includes direct therapy, developmental assessments, and active participation in creating and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs). The therapist supports families through education, collaborates with transdisciplinary teams, and helps coordinate preschool and camp activities. Strong interpersonal communication, physical stamina, and commitment to safety and quality care are essential for this role, which is grounded in promoting early development in natural settings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.S. or B.A. in early childhood education, kindergarten education, elementary education, special education, BSN nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language pathology, and or a related degree in behavior science with an emphasis on human development
