About The Position

Join our team as an ABA Counselor-Early Intervention, where you#ll play a crucial role in providing direct instruction and intervention to young children with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral needs. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you#ll implement teaching plans tailored to each child#s unique requirements, fostering their growth and development during this critical stage of life. Each day will present new challenges as you work within home, residential, and school environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor#s Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology preferred, Associates degree in related field required
• Coursework in early childhood development or young children with special needs preferred
• Valid US driver#s license and minimum age of 21
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
• Experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and intervention to assigned clients in their home and community environments
• Assist in implementing individualized teaching plans under BCBA supervision
• Ensure safety and adherence to health protocols during sessions
• Collect and analyze data for ongoing assessment and development of treatment plans
• Maintain effective communication with parents and multidisciplinary team members
• Create a fun and engaging environment to enhance client motivation and learning
